Quick and easy cheesy asparagus goes great with any kind of cooked meat, mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Salty and savory, the roasting method kills the natural bitterness of asparagus. You can cook it with grated Parmesan cheese but I also recommend you to try some Mozzarella and Pepper Jack cheese.
You need to have:
1 bunch thin asparagus spears trimmed
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon seasonings
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
You need to do:
Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place the asparagus into a baking sheet, and drizzle with the vegetable oil
Sprinkle with salt, cheese and seasonings
Bake in the preheated oven until just tender, 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness
Sprinkle with lemon juice just before serving. Enjoy your meal!
