Black Dog (or Grim) Bookmark. HP book 3

Recently I received my copy of the new illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and as always I’m thrilled with the beauty of Jim Kay’s work. This is my favorite book from the whole HP series and to have it in such a glorious format is a real magical happiness. I like a different vision of the characters by the artist, his attention to detail and stunning ingenuity.

And of course, I made a new thematic bookmark! I thought for a long time on what to stop. Or not, actually, I chose between a ginger cat and a black dog. I really-really like Hermione’s Crookshanks! 🙂 But eventually, I stopped at the Animagus form of Sirius Black. This guy is one of my favorite characters, and the Grim-like dog is a very symbolic for the Book 3 in general.

It is best to use felt to make a bookmark and ‘for Geminio’ you can use the following pattern:

That’s what I got as a result

And as always, let’s look inside the book!

The title of Style Icon undoubtedly goes to Professor Trelawney!

Yeah, it is an excellent illustrated edition like all the previous ones!

The other bookmarks you can find here and here. And here is a great recipe for yummy pumpkin juice!
