Vegan Apple Pie

DSC_0068I love apple pies and already told here a few recipes, but here’s another one. At this time it will be a VEGAN apple pie.

You need to have:

  • 2 cups whole grain flour

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • About 1/2 cup water

  • 3 apples

  • Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, vanilla

Preheat the oven to 360 F (about 180 C).

Mix flour, sugar, spices and baking soda in a large bowl. Add oil and mix wellDSC_0034Pour cold water into the bowl. Apple and pear scones

This is a simple perfectly delicious scone recipe. These scones are good for breakfast and afternoon tea. They are not very sweet but really tender.

You need to have:

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 stick butter, chilled

  • Few apples and pears

  • 1/2 cup milk

You need to do:

Measure flour, sugar, baking soda and salt into a large bowl

Cut in butter until crumbly

Grate apples and pears

Add apples, pears and milk. Stir to form a soft dough

Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Make scones and place them on greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 minutes, or until browned and risen

Make tea and enjoy!
