Almost pancakes

Recently I tried a new recipe with yogurt. Actually, if the yogurt is not very thick and sour, then you can get very cute cupcakes, but in my case they became something like small flat cakes that taste like cottage cheese pancakes, but therefore they are perfect for breakfast! So if you’re curious to try something new, then let’s start!

You need to have:

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 egg

  • 1.5-2 cups flour

  • 0.5 cups of sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 0.5 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 tsp rum (optional)

You need to do:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Softened butter mixed with sugarAdd egg, vanilla essence (1 tsp rum) and mix again. Then add baking powderPour the yogurt and mix wellGradually add the flour and knead the dough. It should not be very thickFill forms for cakes with dough and baked in the oven for 15-20 minutes

Get the cakes from the oven and let them cool.

My “almost pancakes” I served for breakfast with maple syrup, but they are nice with honey, jam or condensed milk. Let it be as you like!
