Dragon Bookmark

DSC_0071While we are all waiting for the new illustrated HP (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), I got the British edition of Fantastic Beasts illustrated by Olivia Lomenech Gill. Olivia’s graphic style is very different from Jim Kay, but I think that can be attributed to the merits of the book. The edition turned out very atmospheric and even vintage. I really love it! And of course, I made the bookmark for it!

This time I chose the image of a small cute dragon:DSC_0106

Not sure that it can be classified. Newt Scamander would have accurately determined that guy, but for me it will quite come for the Antipodean Opaleye or even the Swedish Short-Snout.DSC_0109

It seems that the book now has a special Ravenclaw mood, but I don’t mind at all.DSC_0103

Here is the Dragon pattern:IMG

And a few more pages from the book:DSC_0110DSC_0112DSC_0116DSC_0114

The other bookmarks you can find herehere and here.

P.S.: Did you see the new covers of Harry Potter 20th anniversary editions designed by Brian Selznick? They will be gorgeous!
