Berry Pie

Summer is the best time for berry pie! Try to bake my kefir dough pie and I promise you’ll like it!

For the dough you can use any kind of flour: wheat, whole wheat or gluten-free. Sometimes I use half whole wheat and half almond flour to get the dough very tender. It’s your choice!

You need to have:

  • 1 cup kefir or plain yogurt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup flour (any kind you like)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup berries

You need to do:

Preheat oven to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C).

Lightly beat eggs with sugar and vanilla, add flour, pour kefir. Mix all

Put the parchment baking paper into a baking dish. Pour the dough. Then put berries into the dough

Put the pie into oven for 40-45 minutes. Get the pie

Sprinkle with powdered sugar

Cut your berry pie into pieces and enjoy!

Kefir pie with pears

This pie recipe is very simple to baking and the result is extremely yummy!You need to have:

  • 1 cup kefir or yogurt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1-2 pears

  • A little bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar

You need to do:

Preheat oven to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C)

Lightly beat eggs with sugar and vanilla

Add flour mixed with baking powder and mix all

Pour kefir. Mix well

Peel the pears from the skin, cut them into pieces, sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar

Put the parchment baking paper into a baking dish

Then pour the dough

Put pears on top and slightly pressed into the dough

Put the pie into oven for 40-45 minutes

Get the pie

Cut into pieces and enjoy!

The cooled kefir pie with pears is also very tasty!

Let’s start with pancakes!

If you will buy a liquid yogurt or kefir and try to cook with it pancakes, you’ll see that they will be delicious and fluffy!

You need to have:

  • Kefir – 2 cups
  • Eggs – 2
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp.
  • Baking soda – 0.5 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Flour – 12 tbsp.

You need to do:

  1. Beat eggs with sugar and salt.
  2. Pour the kefir, add baking soda, stir.
  3. Add flour and mix well. Add vegetable oil, stir again and let stand for 15-20 minutes (to become pancakes more delicate).
  4. Cook in a frying pan greased with oil.

Finished pancakes you should beautifully expanded in plates and add maple syrup or jam! Yum-yum!
