Leonardo Cat. Cross Stitch

Today I will show you a very beautiful large cross-stitch picture. This is a reproduction of the picture by wonderful artist Geoff Tristram and it’s called ‘Leonardo’.

This project can take a lot of time, but the finished cross-stitch picture turns out magnificent.

I found the pattern here. Please, keep in mind that the key table shows only Dimensions threads codes. To convert them to DMC use this link.

Gryffindor Sock Bookmark. HP book 2

I am so happy that the second illustrated HP book is out! Yes, it’s Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and, of course, I made a new bookmark for it!

As you can remember, I made a little owl bookmark for the first book, but this time I decided to choose a Gryffindor Sock just like the one that gave freedom to Dobby.

I made my bookmark from felt. You can use this pattern for yellow base and then sew the red stripes on it.

Now let’s look inside of this beautiful illustrated edition. The images in the second book are much darker than the first. But since the story is significantly darker, it makes perfect sense. The artwork is incredible! I love it and now just have to impatiently wait a year for Prisoner of Azkaban!

Cute Patchwork Templates

DSC_0310Few years ago I made this colorful quilt. One side with squares, the other one with triangles. Recently I decided to decorate some squares with cute patchwork pictures.DSC_0320DSC_0305DSC_0318DSC_0279DSC_0319DSC_0314DSC_0317DSC_0313DSC_0316

Rabbit, squirrel and dog, teddy bear and yellow duck, sailboat, rain cloud and umbrella, moon, crown and clover leaf, fish, bird and snail, sea horse and rocking horse, Sanbonnet Sue and Sam, flowers in the pot, apple and even cupcake. All these things are cute and perfect for quilt decoration or single patchwork pictures, even for kids cut-outs.

I’ll show you some templates and you can use them in your own projects.2019181615141312111098765432117

At this time, it is a mousy in the fluffy dress riding on a swing. Just like in a fairytale, right? 🙂
