Simple Greek Salad

When I was on Crete a few years ago this salad was served to the table every day. In Greece it is called Horiatiki that means Village salad and it’s very easy to make at home.

You need to have:

  • 2-3 large tomatoes

  • 4-5 cucumbers

  • 1 large red pepper

  • 3⁄4 cup kalamata olive

  • 8 oz feta cheese

  • Little bit salt, dry oregano and black pepper

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

You need to do:

Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, red pepper and feta cheese. Combine these ingredients with olives in large bowl

Sprinkle salt, oregano and black pepper, mix salad well.

Toss with olive oil and serve!

Eggs in avocado

This morning I cooked a very unusual and nutritious breakfast. The result was delicious and beautiful! So I recommend you try it.
You need to have:

  • 1 big avocado

  • 2 eggs

  • 3-4 cherry tomatoes

  • Salt, pepper

  • Basil leaves (you can take any other greens)

You need to do:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Slice the avocado in half, take out the pit. Scoop out about two tablespoons of flesh from the center of the avocado.

Place the avocado in a small baking dish. Crack an egg into each avocado half. Add salt and pepper. Put tomato halves and sprinkle the basil

Place in the oven and bake about 20 minutes

Remove from oven, let a little cool and enjoy your rich of omega-3s breakfast!

Caprese salad. Simple and divine!

Today we are cooking an excellent appetizer originally from Italy!

It is a very simple recipe, and you probably already used it. Caprese salad was made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag: red, white, and green. In Italy, it is usually served as an starter, not a side dish unlike most salads. And you know, sometimes only Caprese enough to have a lunch or a light dinner.You need to have:

  • Fresh mozzarella

  • Tomatoes

  • Lots of basil

  • Salt, pepper

  • Olive oil

You need to do:

Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slightly thick slicesGather the pieces of tomatoes and mozzarella alternating, then nicely arranged them in a plate. Add salt and pepper

Cut the basil leaves and sprinkle on top

You can drizzle the whole thing with olive oil, but I prefer to leave it to eaters
